Cold Spring-on-the-Hudson and the surrounding communities offer many excellent restaurants, regional theatre, and dozens of craft, gift and antique shops. Historic sites, such as Boscobel, Roosevelt, Vanderbilt mansions, Kyukit, and the West Point Military Academy are close by. Perhaps the most inviting feature of all is the natural splendor of the Hudson Highlands with its many miles of exciting hiking trails.

Cold Spring now has its own Trolley! For a dime, you can ride the trolley from the Cold Spring Visitor's Center to the Garrison Landing. The trolley runs on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays and makes stops at the Foundry Museum and Boscobel.
